Biography

Pierre BONCOMPAIN was born in 1938 at Valence.
Classical studies at Lycée Emile Loubet in Valence and Collège Saint Joseph in Avignon.

 1970 Among the nominated for the Charles Paquement Prize, Friends Museum of Modern Art. Critic's special award.
1959 Entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (head of his class).
 1972 Resident at the Foundation of the Lourmarin Castle (Provence).
1963 Entered the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. Legueult Studio, Collioure Prize. 1977 On a cultural assignement in India with the writers Robert Sabatier and Michel Tournier and the painter Francois Bret, executive for the Marseille's school of Fine Arts.
